5 Spring Skincare Tips Beauty Experts Can’t Live Without

We sat down with Green Valley Ranch Spa’s Lead Aesthetician, Marla Quichocho, to hear her five best pieces of advice to keeping your skin healthy and glowing all year long.

1. Hydration is key!

Along with drinking 8 glasses of water every day, eating fruits and veggies with a high-water content such as watermelon, cucumber, oranges, grapefruits etc. will help keep your skin extra hydrated!


2. Always remove your makeup before bed

Allowing your skin to breathe overnight, prevents blemishes and blackheads.

3. Exfoliate at least once a week

Exfoliating removes dead skin cells from the surface, leaving a radiant glow and eliminates dullness.  Gentlemen, this also softens hair follicles for a smoother shave.

4. Apply an SPF of at least 15

Protecting your skin from UVA and UVB rays daily prevents wrinkles and sun spots as we age.

5. Exercise

Working out daily promotes blood circulating keeping a youthful glow, but be sure to cleanse your face and body after a sweaty workout session to ensure clogging of pores is prevented.
