Hi everyone, I’m Joe Yalda, the butler at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. As a butler in Las Vegas, my job is to cater to all my guests’ needs. I know what guests leave at home all the time and I want to make sure your summer trip is one without worry. Here are six things you must pack so you’re not left out to dry in the Vegas Summer heat:
1. Reusable Water Bottle
A summer trip in Vegas is hot, plain and simple. Staying hydrated is key to ensuring you have a great time and for all of us that go out and have a little too much fun at night, water makes a difference waking up the next day.
2. Healthy Snacks
In between tours, attractions, clubs, and all other things Vegas, energy is important to ensuring a fun time. Bringing items like granola and almonds will help keep your energy levels and spirits high.
Nothing is worse than getting sunburn on your trip. Sunscreen is an absolute MUST, especially when visiting hot climates like we have out here in Las Vegas.
4. Toothbrush and Toothpaste
Bathroom items are probably some of the most commonly left at home items that I have to go out and purchase for some of my guests. In addition to that, don’t forget your glasses and contacts cases.
5. Phone Charger
Selfies. Transportation. Group chats. Text alerts. More selfies. A phone is the most important tool you have during a vacation but it does you no good when it’s dead. Grab your phone charger from home and keep it close by – you’ll thank yourself later.
6. Travel Journal
It’s something small and easy to bring. If you don’t have it, chances are your hotel will have one in your room for you. Sometimes writing down the little details will help you remember what made that trip such a memorable experience!
I hope you found these tips to be helpful! One of the last steps leading up to your Vegas summer vacation is packing – keep these packing tips in mind while you prepare for your Vegas getaway to ensure you don’t have to make additional purchases when you get here.
