If you’ve ever wondered what goes on inside the heads of famous country song writers, Nashville Unplugged delivers. Get behind the music with this interactive live country music show. Nashville Unplugged brings a new twist to live performances in Las Vegas by introducing audiences to the song writers behind the music live on stage.
“Already the cream of the creative crop have been guests of the Nashville Unplugged experience. Writers like Paul Overstreet, Bob Dipiero, Chris Wallin, Allen Shamblin, Dennis Matkosky, Keith Anderson, Tim Nichols, Harley Allen, Danny Myrick, and this year’s BMI songwriter of the year, Bobby Pinson. Because music lovers want to see a sneak peek behind the song-writing curtain, Nashville Unplugged has sold out numerous shows…”
Aaron Benward and Brian McComas, the creative force behind Nashville Unplugged, wanted to give country music enthusiasts in other markets a more intimate look inside the industry.
“…people get a taste of what it’s like to be in Nashville and have these talented people in their back yard for a night.”
Guests not only get to witness a great live country music event, they also get to learn about the emotions, thoughts, and the process that goes into creating a new hit. The guest song writers will talk about details that surround the creation of specific songs, giving a unique perspective on the industry.
Songs From the Hat
Members of the audience also get to write an original song title and place it into a hat during the show. One title is picked out of the hat and the writers write a song live and on the spot. The improvisational nature of the show results in creative humor and spontaneous wit. Both the audience and the performers have a lot of fun with this segment of the show.
Every night that Nashville Unplugged performs they put on an entirely new show. While the concept may be the same, the guest songwriter is different. The audience is new, and the “Song from the Hat” feature means that even if you’ve seen the show once, you’ll want to go back for more.
Each songwriter has taken a different path through life, and each of their songs reflect their different experiences and perspectives. Some stories are humorous, others can be sad, it can be an emotional experience. If you love country music, and you like live venues, Nashville Unplugged is your show. The spontaneity and energy brought by Benward and McComas creates an entertainment experience you’ll be telling your friends about and coming back for more.
